Poet · Illustrator · Dreamer
I was born among birch trees and long Swedish summers —seasons that taught me the beauty of nature.
My art and poetry bloom from these small, quiet moments:
The happiness of finding the first wood anemone in spring, the scent of a meadow after rain, the courage it takes to dream, even on winter days.
Through By Julia Eriksson, I weave these fragments into floral paintings and words — gentle reminders that the ordinary can be luminous.
A Nordic Dream in Colour and Line
Each illustration begins with a feeling: a half-remembered scent, a fragment of a poem, a memory of Midsummer meadows.
I paint with muted tones — soft blues, beige, rose, forest green, and cream — to capture the calm of Nordic nature.
My flower fairies, meadow girls, and quiet landscapes are not fantasies; they are reflections of what lives quietly inside us all — hope, nostalgia, and creative light.
The Poetry
When I’m not painting, I write.
My first poetry collection, In the Gardens of Dreamers — Poetry for Women with Dreams, was born from my wish to encourage women to believe in their creative voices.
The poems speak of courage, growth, gentleness, and the beauty of beginning again.
Beyond the Studio
I’m also the founder of Living the Artist Life, a community for creative women around the world.
There, I share encouragement, creative guidance, and the podcast Her Creative Path — spaces where women can feel safe to dream and create.
