Wood anemone.png

Poet · Artist · Dreamer

I was brought up in darkness for too many hours of the day during wintertime
and so many hours of light during spring and summer that makes you never want to fall asleep.

My skin is touched by the first rays of warm sunlight in spring
and of the scent of lilac and summer rain.

My lips have a smile of joy from when you see the first wood anemone
That is actually my favourite flower that I want to have tattooed underneath my collarbone.

I love flowers
but I´m not great at keeping them alive.
I´m way better at painting them and write poems about how they make me feel.

Describing the memories that comes up when I think of Midsummer and making a flower crown out of wildflowers and a branch of birch tree that has imperfections.
And let´s not forget picking seven flowers in order to have a beautiful midsummer nights dream.

Each illustration I paint has an element of my nordic heart
Muted tones of soft blues, beige, rose, forest green and cream.

And a touch of magic that inspires my childlike heart.

My poetry is rooted in hope and inspiration.
I write about the life I wish to lead but what I want more is to write a poem that will make you think
"it is time I go after the life of my dreams"

Beyond the Studio

I also share my voice through my podcast called Her creative path.
A space where I share creative guidance
because the life of a creative can sometimes feel stagnant and hard.

I want to spend each episode creating beauty, possibility, and permission for women to follow their creative heart.

So if you need it
let me give you back some inspiration and hope.
Reminding you that the world needs your art.
